Episode Two is now available!

Episode Two of What Would Herzog Do? is currently available in streaming format here on the site. It is also available for download thru the iTunes store. In our second episode we discuss the project in general, Herzog's film Fitzcarraldo, and our secon crack at Herzog's reading and viewing lists for his "Rogue Film School"... The Georgics by Virgil and the film Burden of Dreams, a documentary about Herzog's time in Peru for Fitzcarraldo. Plus, Edward shares his stories from his time in Peru.

  1. I'm really enjoying your podcasts, please keep making 'em. Maybe you could incorporate some thoughts on whether all this Herzog exposure is influencing your lives for good...or ill.

You both should finish The Conquest of New Spain: it's a fantastic book and it only gets better as it goes along. Read the Penguin ed.

Anyway thanks for the podcasts and good luck.

  2. Amen re: please persist in these podcasts. I just enjoyed the first, and I will listen to the second soon. I hope the fact that the last post is November 18th doesn't signify that this project has already met its end!

  3. I have just finished listening (and taking notes!) to the first podcast and it sucks to know that there is only one left!! Hopefully in the near future you two get back together and continue working on this awesome idea. I can even be your intern! I'm a film studies student at University of Maryland. My email is riverdeza@gmail.com just in case. Happy 2013 to all! - Tomás
